It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Design Contest WIN 4000 POINTS, 20$ AND MORE!I've wanted to hold a design contest for a long time now, and finally I've gathered enough points to do it

What I'm looking for:
Everything! Wolves, foxes, fennec foxes, ferrets, servals, bobcats, tigers, other big cats, small cats, deers, dragons, gryphons, dogs, birds, hybrids, original species.. bring it!
I'm leaving the details to your imagination, but here are some things I really like:
-White base color with black and red markings<33 (mostly on canines)
-Cute and fluffy things! No need to go all big eyes and oversized heads, but animals with fur. Creepy and slimy things just aren't my thing.. Still don't be afraid to make something dark/evil
-Anything tribal
-Native american stuff
-Feathers!
-Tawny, golden, brown, white, red, blue, cyan, gray, black (well, not all combined)
-I like more natural base colors, but with smaller markings in unnatural colors like blue or red
-Long tails, big/long

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Slots are full for now, guys! Thanks so much for the requests. *hug* If you've had a response from me to confirm a slot, I'll be working through the list as fast as I can. To anyone still interested: I'll let you know when new slots are open. You guys rock!

It's the start of a new year and I find myself able to finally open limited, casual commission slots, huzzah! ^_^ I'm working on the basis of taking on just 10 slots at a time, as I can't be sure when things will kick in again and I'll need to pause.

The slots I tend to offer here on DeviantArt are not at my professional rates and are on a much more casual basis. For larger or corporate projects, please visit my professional site at www.emmavieceli.com ^_^

These slots will mostly limited to sketches, but please see further down for details. I don't work on them to a deadline and, as such, although I try to work as quickly as I can, I can't guarantee a time scale. Because of this, I don't take payment until the image is submitted, however.

Re Pricing:
As these are casual slots, I tend to let the commissioner guide me, so you choose a price and I work according to that price. Your payment covers only the hours I can spend on your image. My average fee for a sketch at what I call fandom-rate (ie, fanart/personal/non-profit-making) falls between $40/£30 and $100/£80 but can go higher depending on the image (eg, amount of characters, colour etc).

So essentially, you can choose a price and I'll work according to it. ^_^

Once I know a price and what's required, I can set to work. If you're interested in reserving a slot, just drop me a note here and we can take it from there.
