The story here is that I found THE most evocative, incredible reference photo today - at least, I thought so. Everything about its pose demanded to be recreated....and that's what you can see here, but with my own style.
What fascinated me about the pose was how many questions it prompted in my mind. I've added facial expressions which hopefully add to that further. The biggest question of course is: is the blonde trying to hold the sword arm away or draw it closer? If he's protecting himself, then why does he have an empty and free hand?

I hope you find it as interesting as I did. ^_^
