Hey hey^_^
Thank you to all of the support that you guys have shown to Hamlet already! The release of the book is drawing very near now *bites nails* and so i thought I'd add another page to my DA gallery.

This is from a scene where Lartes and Claudius conjur up some nasty plans for Hamlet.....oooooh....

So yep - the book should be out in the next few weeks in the UK, and in April for the US. Watch this space! ^_^

That is so not how it happened... cool looking anyway, shame it looks like liberties had to be taken ...

Oh, don't worry! No liberties were taken...this is taken from the scene between Claudius and Laertes, where Laertes is plotting what we WILL do in the duel....not what actually happens. the books are true to the original, fear not! I wouldn't have done it if they weren't! ^_^

Ah good, just I was looking at the Romeo and Juliette attempt where I was thinking the only thing Italian here is the scooter.
I thought that was the Hamlet vs Laertes battle.
I've seen an amazing film on Hamlet that was released on DVD this year which only used lines from the book which would be something to look at if you feel stuck (which I doubt you ever will be).

Well, I'm always happy to check out new Hamlet films - I love the play - which version is it?

As for my version, at least I don't need to worry about getting stuck on it now as it was released earlier this year: March in the UK and May in the US. ^_^ But that doesn't stop me wanting to watch more Hamlet adaptations! I lurve the Dane!

It was Kenneth Branagh's version, it's about 4 hours long but it's damn good.

Oh - Brannagh's version is amazing - I've most definitely seen that one!
I sat in the cinema when it was first released, years ago it seems. It even had an interval, it was THAT long! Glorious film ^_^

Yea, it finally came out on dvd (with the advent of super compression) this year. I saw a copy in English a few months ago.

what 'he' will do...not what 'we' will do. Stoopid keyboard ^_~

But yes, you get my point. This is a scene showing the outcome as Laertes imagines it - as you know, the reality is somewhat different.
