Well, in honour of Violet finally arriving in the DFC itself this week (www.thedfc.co.uk for infor and subscriptions), I thought I'd post up one of the pages from this edition.

The first three weeks of Violet's DFC run will basically be running the Guardian strips I did, but this time in nice DFC quality. There'll be two Guardian strips per issue until issue 15, when the actual Violet storyline begins - set a year after the discovery of her 'gift'.

Anyone who hasn't heard of the DFC yet, go check it out.

Delivered to your door every Friday, chock full of UK comic goodness - it's meant for kids, but you know what? I'm a big kid and I have LOVED getting it this past few months ^__^

Its so cool you are in the DFC!

I got this particular page when I bought the Guardian (especially for your comic

)
I am subscribing to the DFC next week. Its such a brilliant idea, I'm incredibly excited by the whole thing, its been my dream ever since I was a kid to be able to get a comic every week, with stories that are ongoing rather then just single strips (I never liked Beano as a kid ). I went to Caption 2 weeks ago, and they had a penel about the DFC, it realy got me fired up and excited. First we will have comics arriving by post, but pretty soon it will be like in France, where we can go buy comics of all types for all ages weekly in a super market!!

Although I like the post idea, its exciting
