I always imagine that Anders and Hawke will go out with a bang well before then, during the mage/Chantry war... not sure that makes me feel better or worse!

Gah! I am still holding out a sliver of hope that Avernus or the Architect or SOMEBODY will come up with something. Not necessarily a cure, but a way of slowing it down. I'm holding out hope not just for my Hawke/Anders, but for my Cousland/Alistair too.
