:iconrattsu: has been toying with some alternate timeline stuff and I just had to try this out.

What would have happened if the fifteen year Cortland had been convicted of murder, after all? Would his sentence have helped him or hardenened him? I've given it thought and I know how I think he'd have turned, being the social and emotional sponge that he is.

I won't go on here as I realise it's sort of meaningless when you don't know the characters or the story, haha, but yeah - I wanted to at least share this pic as it's how I imagine an older Cortland who had served his sentence to look on release.

Without a chance to experience growth and change, Cortland has become a teenager now stuck in a man's body. Coiled, harder, with eyes that have seen far too much of only one way of life.
