Okay, *takes deep breath*
So, in honour of Mr Ivashkov finally making his appearance in the Frostbite inks I'm working on at the moment, I thought it was finally time to share his original sketch ^_^

This is from a set of early concepts, and is the sketch that Richelle liked - which always makes me very happy! If she's happy with a design, I know I've done my job

Seeing how much love is out there for her amazing characters is wonderful, but I can't tell you how nerve-wracking it is to try and bring those same characters to life. I always have to tell myself that there's no way a drawing can possibly encapsulate everything that every reader sees in a character from a book - but I was really pleased with Adrian's casual smugness in this sketch. ^_^

I just bought the graphic novel and I loved every bit of it except Lisa's long face and small eyes... other than that I just fell in love with christian and Dimitry gave me a nosebleed >.< oh and Mason was just like I imagined him

Hi there Emma

I just finished finding this beautiful sketch of Mr Adrian Ivashkov and I just wanted to say that I think he is perfect and understand that other people may have a different view on him but when I read Richelle's book this is the Adrian I pictured and I think it is great

Also you did an AMAZING job on Vampire Academy it was wonderful can't wait for Frostbite

especially Christian he is sooo cute!! (Lissa x christian fan) T.T the only thing that I did not like was that there was no kissing scene between them 3: oh when is the next one coming out and do you do take commissions?!

Aww thank you so much! I'm happy that so many people are liking how Christian worked out. We shall address the kissing scene in Frostbite, haha ^_^
I rarely take commissions, except for Dragon Age related ones at the moment as they're my wind-down, haha!
But keep an eye on my journal and I'll let people know when I open slots again! Thanks so much for asking ^_^

yay kissing scene!! *excited and cannot wait to see it* do you think you might be doing the artwork for Bloodlines as well? Because that would be awesome OAO dragon age as in the video game o.O? Or what? Ah like um *fidgets* >~> if you could do a VA commission >~> but I will watch you and keep checking for any updates on your journal ^~^
